Giant Schnauzer Information:

The American Kennel Club web site offers excellent breed information as well as links to other sites of interest to Giant Schnauzer folks.

Looking for a Puppy?

The best place to start is the national breed club. Breed clubs are non-profit associations of breed fanciers devoted to the betterment of their chosen breed.

  • Clubs offer informed breed information
  • Lists of responsible breeds in your region
  • Schedules of events where you can see Giant Schnauzers and meet owners

PLEASE Consider a Rescue...

Each national breed club maintains a rescue network to care for and place unwanted dogs. These dogs have come into the rescue network through no fault of their own ~ they were simply chosen as adorable pups by the wrong family, a family that was unable or unwilling to make a life-long commitment. The dogs are screened for soundness and GREAT care is taken in selecting an appropriate new family. Those involved in rescue are an excellent source for information about the breed. We've listed the national rescue network ~ you will find links to represenatives in your area.
